The iEngage360 engagement platform integrates collaboration, workflow, enterprise information access, planning, and social media paradigms to improve collaboration and assist in informed decision-making across organizational boundaries.  Engagements can be attached to planning objects, monitoring objects, operational execution elements, and process objects to allow for stakeholders to communicate and collaboration with each other within context of a given issue.  By allowing meetings agendas to be preconceived, with specific context and supportive information, pre-meeting reviews, feedback, and assessments, mitigation strategies and impact statements can be prepared and reviewed prior to meeting.  The meeting is then about decision-making and not about developing a common understanding.  Furthermore, engagements can happen at Flex Pace, where deeper social paradigms allow participants to contribute collectively as meets their schedule.  Where team members with limited participation can monitor progress and contribute without having to participate directly, eliminating non-productive time spent in meetings.

Engagement Engagement

iEngage360 Engagement can reduce meeting time and avoided wasted time, if and when issues are resolved ahead of a meeting being called. Engagements allow for FlexPaced meetings where participants engage with content collaboratively, but at their own convience using social media paradigms for communication.

iEngage360 visualization implements graphs of structured data enhanced by semantic modeling to provide contextual relationships between disparate data elements derived from native enterprise data sources.  The visual appearance of this data provides perspective and gives greater contextual understanding of information that is inherent in the original data source.

Practically, this means that given the context of a strategic goal to reduce overall cost of the organization, that would be implemented by an objective to improve operational performance (throughput) and an objective to reduce supply costs (contributing to cost of goods sold), independently a rise in each component costs might raise an alert, but when examined in conjunction to each other, considering both objectives and their individual contribution to the strategic goal the problem becomes more significant.  If adding to these issues, is a down turn in sales and a market trend toward price sensitivity, the issue becomes critical.  Visualization of complex structured data sets, in combination with integrated monitoring of strategic plan health and status can quickly inform corporate leadership as to the impact of the described situation.  Further, more by integrating engagement into the visualization and navigation process, we can easily see that risk assessments are being done, and that mitigation strategies are being built.  And not within the silo of an individual department, but as a collaborative effort across organizational boundaries, between operations, supply chain management and marketing.

The handling of graphs is considered with respect to information visualization and information understanding is an essential part of iEngage360, to help organizations develop information strategies and strategic processes for maintaining clear focus on prioritizing corporate efforts on those tactical bodies of work that have the highest payoff.

Information visualization has become a large field and "sub–fields" are beginning to emerge.  Our implementation focuses on representations of structured data, i.e., where graphs are the fundamental structural representation of the data and the navigation of such data based upon semantic properties of the data.  Information visualization has specific requirements, which means that we will approach the results of traditional graph drawing from a different perspective than the other solutions.  Allowing navigation of the data to take the visualization into various contexts, representing different properties of the data and the unique structure and representations of these contextual relationships.

The iEngage360 plaftform allows for a wide variety of users to interact with the core systems within the context of their roles and responsibliities of the system.  This includes the contextual roles within the ogranizaiton, within a given engagement, or within a given project or plan.  The portal interface can also include external entities to organizaiton (customers and suppliers).
